Mike Shahrestani brings over 28 years of hands-on leadership in the automotive industry, with
deep expertise in dealership operations, software innovation, and strategic consulting. A
trailblazer in automotive technology, Mike co-founded AutoXplorer in the late 1990s, helping to pioneer one of the first Dealer Management Systems (DMS) built specifically for independent
dealerships. Known throughout the industry as the “DMS King,” Mike played a key role in
digitizing dealership workflows long before it became the norm.
Throughout his career, Mike has advised hundreds of dealerships across the country, offering
common-sense, tech-powered solutions to complex operational challenges. His strengths lie in
combining real-world dealership knowledge with scalable software strategies that drive
profitability and growth.
Today, Mike is the CEO and Founder of AIDMS, a next-generation AI-powered DMS platform
that reflects his decades of experience and forward-thinking vision. He continues to shape the
future of dealership technology with the same passion and precision that established his legacy in
the first place.
With over 25 years of experience in automotive dealership technology, Sean Javadi is a seasoned software architect and product strategist. He co-founded AutoXplorer in 1999, serving as its lead architect and playing a key role in designing one of the industry's earliest and most trusted Dealer Management Systems (DMS) for independent dealerships.
Sean went on to contribute to major enterprise-level innovations at Cox Automotive, further expanding his impact across the dealership technology landscape. Today, he continues to lead at the cutting edge of automotive software as the CTO / Architect of AIDMS, a next-generation AI-powered DMS built to modernize and future-proof dealership operations.
